Hi all. I'm glad to be a member. Please excuse me for writing in English. I'm a long time fan of phpFusion going back over 20 years. I like your modified V9 version. I would very much like to see paid membership infusion. I used one created by Western Studios many years ago which worked really well. I used it on a project for a television program. I think I still have a copy somewhere. Is anyone working on a paid membership infusion or can we get to work on one. Many thanks. John.

The Infusion you mentioned apparently only connected to a payment interface from Western Studios and processed successful payments by creating group rights/memberships through a response to a custom webhook URL.

Since Western Studios has apparently discontinued its services entirely, the entire backend for the payment process is missing.

Creating a new Infusion that works only with PayPal, for example, wouldn't be so difficult. However, it should offer more than just PayPal for payments, and separate interfaces would need to be integrated for each additional platform. Then there's the maintenance aspect, because payment services are constantly expanding or changing their interfaces.

I'm not aware of anyone currently working on such a project, and I don't have any plans for one myself. I think the best approach would be an Infusion that communicates with a dedicated payment portal like "InvoiceNinja" via API and can even manage subscriptions automatically.

It was a very good extension. It sent payments through PayPal. I may get an old copy of PHPFusion 6 set up and get the extension working again for testing. A new version using FOSSBilling might be a possible solution.

I've used PHPFusion for over 20 years and have several infusions for it. Maybe some are still useful and can be converted to version 9.
